Fees

Our Counsellors charge between 165$-180$/session.  There is 5% GST charged in addition to the session fee. We do not offer sliding scale or reduced rates.

Counselling services are not covered by MSP, the government’s provincial health care plan. Counselling services are covered by some extended benefits plans. The best way to determine this is to call your insurance provider and ask if they cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) or Registered Therapeutic Counselor (RTC).

We do accept autism funding (AFU) as well as ICBC.

Each insurance plan is different so please check with your provider.

Our counselors do not provide direct billing.  The client is responsible for payment to the therapist at the time of service. If you want to receive reimbursement through your extended benefits plan, you will be provided with a receipt to submit to your insurer.

At the moment none of our clinicians are accepting students.

Sarah Ftaya is able to offer supervision towards registration as an RCC in the province of BC.

You will be connected to the therapist who seems to be the best fit for you. The therapist will take the time to discuss your situation in detail. At the end of the call you may choose to schedule. If they do not feel like a good fit, you can ask to speak to someone else.

We need to get consent to treat your child from both you and your ex-spouse.

They are typically 50 minutes long. Longer sessions may be arranged for couples or individuals with complex concerns.

No, we do not. In case of an emergency you should call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
