Cindy is a registered clinical counsellor who has volunteered long-term with a local non-profit while obtaining her Master’s in Education/School Counselling and degrees in both Education and Child and Youth Care.
Her approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Bowen Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is completing play therapy training in July 2025.
Cindy is passionate about supporting children, youth, and their families to build resilience and develop the tools to overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, identity and self-worth concerns, boundary setting, and improving communication patterns.
Cindy’s work is rooted in the belief that every person is unique and has the capacity for positive change. Through the therapeutic relationship, I strive to act as a guide, coach, facilitator, and educator, while offering a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued.
